A spirit of optimism in Neustadt: Gärtnerverband sets new impulses!

The board meeting of the Federal Association of Industry Garden (BVE) took place in Neustadt an der Weinstraße on September 16 and 17, 2024. Despite a fluctuating first half of the year for many companies, whereby regional differences were clearly noticeable, the mood among those present seemed optimistic and full of zest for action. This meeting offered a platform to develop new ideas and discuss future strategies.

One of the most important decisions during the meeting was the new election of the chairman Ulrich Haage, which is considered a step towards fresh impulses for the association. The participants found themselves in a motivating and future -oriented atmosphere, which made it possible to define clear measures for the further development of the association. The discussion about the communication strategy of the BVE and the training work, which is to be promoted in the coming months

A central theme of the session was the reaction to Aldi's cross -entry campaign, which stimulated many participants to think. This initiative seemed to trigger a wave of inspiration, which motivated the gardening community to quickly launch its own, targeted counter -campaign. The BVE members were impressed by the dynamics of the Aldi campaign and recognized the need to actively participate and strengthen their own brand presence.

Furthermore, cooperation with the association greening and hydroculture (FVRH) and the garden tree schools (GBV) were discussed. These partnerships could help use synergies and to promote the area of space greening and hydroculture. Through these collaborations, there is the possibility of developing common projects that benefit both sides and could have a positive impact on the industry.
