Hummels, Kramer and Gosens: Your own wine autumn champion inspires!

In an exciting merger of sports and enjoyment, the three Bundesliga stars Mats Hummels, Christoph Kramer and Robin Gosens presented their own wine called "Herbstmeister". This remarkable Riesling Cuvée comes from the picturesque Zellertal in Rheinhessen and testifies to the high expectations that football professionals put to their wine business. The official start of sales took place on Monday, October 16, 2024, and the response to the new product is already promising.

The idea for this special wine was no accident. Hummels, Kramer and Gosens share a passion for exquisite wines, which they already connected to each other during joint restaurant visits and wine tastings. A sommelier of the renowned "Laurenz" wine bar in Mainz brought the idea to language and supported it in implementation. This led the footballers closely with the experienced winemakers Phillip Kuhn and H.O. Spaniard worked. Together they wanted to create a premium wine that reflects the high quality and tradition of German wine growing.

The origin and quality of the "autumn master" wine

The wine comes from the vineyards in the Zellertal and is the result of a careful selection of the best grapes in the year 2022. In a press release, the sports marketing office "Five Aside" emphasizes that wine has a special taste-it combines smoky grades with fruity accents of yellow apple and a delicate herbal dead. This should be a sign of the creative handwriting of the winemakers and football stars involved.

The name "autumn champion" bears both a sporty and a cultural meaning. In football, the term describes the unofficial title that the best team wins after the first half of the season. Hummels explains that this is an allusion to the status of the wine, which, similar to football, can be developed. "In football, the autumn champion is a little bit the unfinished. And since wine is always something unfinished, it fits perfectly," notes Kuhn.

With a price of 29 euros, the "autumn champion" is available online via the Herbstmeister.de website. Here wine lovers have the opportunity to try this unique wine and possibly discover a new favorite wine. The decision of the football professionals to immerse themselves in the wine industry shows not only their love for the culinary world, but also their desire to create permanent brand values.

A last aspect that arouses curiosity is whether the footballers will also plan future wines or maybe even events around the wine. In any case, the combination of football and wine culture seems to be a promising terrain that will certainly promote further creative projects. Special wine tastings or themed evenings could appear on the fans and wine lovers' radar in the coming months or years.

For wine lovers and football fans alike, the new project of the three footballers is exciting and could herald a new trend in the cooperation between sport and enjoyment. The "autumn champion" is not only a wine, but also a symbol of the connection between team spirit and culinary creativity.
