The blind auditions of The Voice of Germany 2024: Who is leaving?
On September 26, 2024, the starting shot of the 14th season of "The Voice of Germany" was given. The spectators can look forward to the music show every Thursday on ProSieben and every Friday on Sat.1. There are some changes in this season; The jury was completely turned over, which ensures a fresh wind.
Not a single juror from the previous season has remained. Giovanni Zarrella, Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Ronan Keating and Shirin David are no longer part of the format. Instead, fans can look forward to the return of Yvonne Catterfeld, Samu Haber and Mark Forster in 2024. New in the jury team is Kamrad, an emerging singer-songwriter who has already achieved over 111 million streams on Spotify with his hit "I Believe".
Blind Auditions on October 11, 2024-Who remains, who goes?
On Friday, October 11, 2024, the format went into the sixth round of blind auditions. Here the participants hope to convince the coaches of their talent and thus qualify for the next round. Unfortunately you also had to record some departures.
One of the failed candidates is the 41-year-old Bärbel Weinert-Maurer from Rhineland-Palatinate. With the rock song "Open Your Eyes" by Guano Apes, she wanted to shine in front of the coaches, but did not make it into the next round. As a music lover, she has been involved in her own rock cover band with her husband since childhood. But this time her performance was not enough.
Even the 22-year-old Maximilian Henning from Bavaria could not convince. With the emotional ballad "Holes" by Passenger, he wanted to leave a lasting impression, but no juror thought of turning around. In retrospect, the coaches admitted to regret his decision.
On the other hand, there were also successful appearances, such as those of Petter Bjällö from Hamburg. The 49-year-old sang "The Music of the Night" from the "Phantom of the Opera" and convinced Samu Haber so that he became part of his team. For Petter it is important to establish an emotional connection to his audience with his music.
The 22-year-old Jacqueline Haider from Graz, on the other hand, brought a feeling of relaxation to the stage, which she proved with the classic "Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You" by George Benson. She too was successful and chose Mark Forster as a coach.
The 24-year-old Scorpion from Berlin told an ultimately emotional story behind her appearance when she performed "Jaded" by Miley Cyrus. She found a place in his team at Samu Haber.
Sascha Steitz, 28 years old from Wiesbaden, wanted to inspire the coaches with "Happy" and made it into Kamrad's team. Its strength lies in conveying the feelings behind the songs.
The 20-year-old Celina Lücke delighted the jury with "She used to be Mine" from the musical Waitress and got the chance to get one step further.
And not to forget the 19-year-old Emily König from Salzgitter, who in her performance of "Flowers" by Lauren Spencer-Smith gave all coaches goosebumps. With the desired team member Samu, she was finally able to take her dream chance.
In the meantime, candidates like Anima Beka, who emphasized the positive strength of the music, also made it into the team of Yvonne Catterfeld. She sang "Masterpiece" by Jessie J and expressed her passion that she brings in the show.
Marc Phillips, 26 years old and with his guitar Luna in his luggage, impressed with "California Dreamin" by The Mamas & Papas and secured a place at Kamrad.
The stage is so enlivened by various talents, all of which work towards their dream. What remains are the memories of the appearances and the anticipation of the next episode, where exciting fights will again appear.
