New Year's reception in Ludwigshafen: Almost inspire honors and festive music!

The New Year's reception of the city of Ludwigshafen took place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in the Palatinate building and attracted around 1,300 guests. The event not only included a festive atmosphere, but also a remarkable speech by Mayor Jutta Steinruck. This took about 40 minutes and was transferred live via the city administration's YouTube channel.

Im Rahmen des Empfanges wurden mehrere Auszeichnungen verliehen. Jutta Steinruck presented honor rings to Rita Augustin-Funk, Günther Henkel, Heinrich Jöckel, Monika Kleinschnitger and Marion Schneid. In addition, Barbara Kohlstruck and Alban Meißner received the Maximilianstaler. The citizens' medal was awarded to Monika Essschli, Günther Kanzler, Gerhard Kaufmann, Karin Lambrecht and Jörg Neubauer. A special award, the partnership medal, went to the Max Planck High School.
