Rübenach celebrates 1250 years: A year full of festivals is imminent!
For the 1250th birthday of the Rübenach district in 2025, the municipality is planning numerous festive events. The local chronicler Herbert Hennes and local chief Thomas Roos are already coordinating the celebrations to duly appreciate the eventful history and club life of the picturesque Koblenz district. Rübenach, known for its striking landmarks such as the "Rüwenacher Möck", looks back on a long tradition and will celebrate all year round with different highlights, such as the Rhein Zeitung reported.

The incorporation of Rübenach to Koblenz in 1970 was a drastic event that caused many emotions. Rübenach was an independent community for over 1200 years, and the changeover brought concerns and displeasure with itself, as can be seen from former local representatives.
