Drama on the floor: Knight Guardians beat in the away game!

Koblenz, Deutschland - The Bozic Knights fought for a tight victory last weekend in an exciting away game against the Koblenz Guardians. Head coach Igor Perovic had high expectations for his team before the game, who tried to score in the away game after two home wins this season. The starting line -up, consisting of Toni Dorn, Lucas Mayer, Cam Henry, Thomas and Braden Norris, went into play motivated, but had to fight against the aggressively players right from the start.

At the beginning of the game, the Guardians clearly dominated and went into the first quarter break with an early lead, which they won with 22:16. The Knights got a little sweating, but were then able to turn and scored an impressive 13: 1 run in the second quarter, which temporarily brought them the lead. However, this did not last long because the Koblenzers quickly countered and went into the cabin with a narrow gap of 36:39 at half -time.

The second half offered the spectators gripping basketball. Cam Henry, who equalized directly via and one after half -time, brought a breath of fresh air to the game. However, the Koblenzers initially stayed on the trigger and pulled away to 48:43 again. Braden Norris provided the next top of the mood with a decisive three -point throw and heralded a phase in which the Knights found more and more into play.

Although the three points from a distance were not good that evening, the Knights found paths, especially at the end of the basket to bring the ball into the net. As a result, they were able to keep the lead in the fourth quarter between five and seven points. In the last seconds of the game it was really exciting when the Koblenzers shortened the gap to 83:80. Cam Henry and Miryne Thomas, however, kept the nerves on the free -wing line and secured the tight victory for the knights.

Overall, the team convinced with a balanced team performance, in which five players were able to score in double digits: Cam Henry scored 20 points, followed by Graham with 14 and Thomas, who was top scorer of the Knights with 21 points. Dimi Ward and Braden Norris also contributed 10 or 13 points to the overall performance.

head coach Perovic summed up the game with the words: "It was a difficult game for us. In the first half we were not 100 percent when it comes to energy and physique. That was much better in the second half and we determined the game in the areas. In the end it was also decisive." After four game days, the Knights are now in the sixth place in the table with three wins.

The next game of the Bozic Knights will take place next Saturday in the home town, the sports hall Stadtmitte, against the Nuremberg Falcons. Fans can look forward to another exciting game.
