On Thursday, December 5th, at 7 p.m., the artist book "Views by K." presented in the renowned MPK, Museum Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern. This book is the result of the fascinating exhibition "Betze, K-Town, Pfaff", which focuses on the cultural and historical facets of Kaiserslautern.

The talented documentary photographer Elisabeth Neudörfl has created a visual masterpiece with her impressive series of photos that illuminates the city in all its layers. From the archaeological finds of medieval imperial palatinate to the present US military culture-Neudörfl brings together the various aspects of Kaiserslautern in an exciting way. The book published by Hatje Cantz Verlag is available for 40 euros and promises to change the perception of the city.

an evening full of insights

At the book presentation, Neudörfl will talk about her work together with Annette Spellerberg, professor of city sociology, and Barbara Vienna, a renowned gallery owner from Berlin. Steffen Egle, the director of the MPK, moderates the evening. Barbara Vienna brings her expertise into conceptual art, while Annette Spellerberg shines as a specialist for social and demographic change. Together they will discuss the creative processes and the deeper meaning behind the pictures.

The exhibition "Betze, K-Town, Pfaff" runs until January 19 and shows the results of artistic research by Neudörfl and other artists such as Sophie Innmann, Nikolaus Koliusis and Erik Sturm. This intensive examination of Kaiserslautern invites visitors to look at the city from new perspectives and to discover the unique identities and atmospheres that shape them.
