FCK-II is subject to Engers: Bitter defeat before the winter break!

In an exciting duel in the Oberliga Rhineland-Palatinate/Saar, the U21 players of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern had to accept a bitter defeat on Friday evening. Against FV Engers, the team of coach Alexander Bugera lost 1-2 on the artificial turf in the Rote Teufel sports park. This is already the third defeat of the season for the FCK reserve, reported the Rheinpfalz .

The game started from the guests' point of view, which put pressure on the FCK goal at an early stage. The goalkeeper of the juniors, David Schwingel, showed some remarkable parades, but could not prevent David Eberhardt from scoring the first goal for FV Engers in the 29th minute. Another shock for the Lauterer followed shortly before the end of the first half when Marius Bauer only hit the crossbar. After a powerful start into the second half, Schwingel made a serious mistake and played the ball perfectly into the opponent. Enrico Rössler used this ice cold and increased to 2-0 for the Engersers (58th minute). Although Marc Nauth was able to connect to 1-2 in added time, the time was too short to pull the helm around.
