Schaidt is planning a fast bike path to the new health center!

Schaidt, Deutschland - The countdown is running! The work at the new health center at the western entrance to Schaidt is almost at the destination. But now another important project has to be tackled - the expansion of the bike path that is supposed to bear the name Mühlweg is in the hot phase! At the last meeting of the Schaidt local advisory board, the SPD parliamentary group made the application to advance the construction project.

Why so urgently? The health center attracts an enormous number of cyclists who have to come to Speyerer Straße via the dangerous approach and departure. The group leader Christine Greulich warns of the high potential for danger. A clear message: The 130 meter long bike and footpath must not be pushed out! Here security is in the top priority, and the decision -makers know that only too well.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel? An attractive offer from investor Arthur Ziegler could be the solution. He could even expand the path himself and bring the city on board! But is that the best solution or should other ways be checked? This hot iron will surely be discussed in the upcoming meetings.
