New hiking trail concept for Donnersbergkreis: Quality instead of quantity!

It is official: With an exciting kick -off event, the starting signal for the "Hiking trail concept Donnersberger Land", which was eagerly awaited at the beginning of October. This initiative, launched by the DTV and the municipalities in the Donnersberg district, has a clear goal - the creation of a touristy -attractive circular route network that is supposed to lure hiking friends into the region.

A uniform system for the hiking routes is needed! So far there are no standards in the Donnersbergkreis for the paths that have developed historically. The municipalities are on various routes, which causes confusion. The leader-funded process now develops visitor steering concepts, which should be the basis for systematic directions and signage. The focus is on the recording and digital preparation of all municipal paths-in exciting workshop rounds with experts, the existing range of paths is to be revised and optimized. The goal? Create high -quality hiking experiences!

This ambitious project is accompanied by the planning office via the direction of Thomas Stolz, who presented the detailed timetable during the opening event. In addition to the creative workshops, there will also be practical roads to check the suitability of individual routes for future certification. The result of this high commitment is expected for spring 2025 if the new route concept is in its full splendor and the implementation can begin through subsidized follow -up projects.
