50 years of peace: gear with 50 lights in Kirchheimbolanden!

An impressive anniversary is imminent: The peace days in Kirchheimbolanden celebrate their 50th anniversary this year! On November 1st, the special program begins with a moving walk through the city, which will touch the hearts of the visitors.

As it should be for such a anniversary, 50 “peace lights” will shine in significant places in the city. These lights symbolically stand for the 250 deaths from both world wars and invite everyone to pause and commemorate. Prominent voices such as Monika Reuter will tell moving stories, while Timo Zühlke and Steffen Schlösser frame the event musically. The tour starts at 6 p.m. at the war memorial at the butcher's shop in Neumayerstrasse.
