On Wednesday evening, October 30, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., a dramatic incident on the B9 at the Bingerbrück exit towards Bingen-Büdesheim happened. Suddenly several large boulders loosened from the rock slope and plunged onto the street with full force! A shock for all road users!
A total of five vehicles were damaged by the sudden rock outlet. Fortunately, there were only sheet damage, but two of the vehicles were so badly affected that they had to be towed. The road maintenance department was immediately commissioned to remove the danger site, which required a temporary full closure of the road. A dangerous moment that could have ended much worse!
