District Administrator Anke Beilstein and editor -in -chief Heinz Kugel presented the latest edition at the ceremonial performance in the district house, which is devoted to the explosive topic "Sustainability - formerly and today". This topic is not only up to date, but also of historical importance, since it shows how the people in the region have always been pragmatically dealt with resources.

"I am glad that the editorial committee has chosen sustainability," explained Beilstein. At a time when each of us is confronted with the term, the yearbook offers a valuable review of past lifestyles and approaches. Over 40 authors have contributed their perspectives and stories to take the readers on an exciting journey through time.
