Become a digital ambassador: Help for beginners in the Birkenfeld district!

In the Birkenfeld district, a new initiative was launched to win digital ambassadors. In a message from the city administration in Idar-Oberstein, it is pointed out that these ambassadors should play an important role in supporting people who have had little experience with digital media so far. This matter is particularly relevant because more and more areas of life are being transferred to the digital world, and many people need help.

The training for the prospective digital ambassadors takes place in November and is offered free of charge. This training includes four appointments, all of which have to be made to successfully complete the program. The previous record of the project is impressive: since the introduction in 2018, over 600 volunteers have been trained nationwide who have already been active in their communities.
