SV Herschweiler-Pettersheim: Hope for the first home win!

The SV Herschweiler-Pettersheim is in the slamassel! After a bumpy start of the season, they take the last place in the table in the A-Class. But the team is combative: "We believe in ourselves and don't give up," explains player coach Philipp Arnold.

The hard reality has caught up with the promoted team: with only four points from the previous games, they are already falling behind the competition six and seven points. Her only triumph came against SV Spesbach on the second day, where she celebrated a spectacular comeback from 2: 4 to 6: 4. Arnold also attributes the difficulties to player exits - Maximilian Schmöger travels around the world, Sebastian Heß has ended his career and Zacchary Griffin is struggling with injuries. "We are close to personnel," says Arnold, who also admits that other teams have the better cards.

The view of the A-Class: a struggle for survival

With regard to the upcoming games, SV Herschweiler-Pettersheim does not want to arouse false expectations: "We want to achieve the best possible and do not lose the fun of football," emphasizes Arnold. Nevertheless, the upcoming duel against SV Rodenbach, which also belongs to the lower half of the table, shows special explosiveness. A victory could bring you closer to the competition, because SV Rodenbach is only seven points ahead. Arnold describes the opponents as strong and unpredictable - "a surprise bag", as is often the case with second teams.

Despite worries about injury in the squad, Arnold hopes for the returnee and goes into the game with an optimistic sign: "I guess a 2-1 win!" The fans of SV Herschweiler-Pettersheim can be excited to see whether their team will finally develop their full potential again. The team is defective and the hunt for the second win of the season is running!
