Atzen adhesive opens the athletics year in Oberbrombach!

On Saturday, January 6, 2025, the Atzen adhesive will take place in Oberbrombach, which marks the first athletics event of the year in the Birkenfeld district. This event is the third run of the Oie-Nahe Cross Running series. Previously, the Peter Drey run of the TV Oberstein in Weierbach and the cross of SV Schwollen had already taken place. The participants can adjust to winter conditions that will increase the challenge of the run.

The registration deadline for the event is on January 10, 2024 at midnight, late registrations are not possible. The start numbers are issued at the grill hut on the sports field. There are showers in the sports home for the participants. At this event, a district championship for runners from the age group U12 (m/w10 upwards) is also carried out from the Birkenfeld district.

The running route that runs on forest paths and meadow grounds is suitable for spikes. The award ceremonies take place promptly after each run.
