Frontal-Crash on L47: Witnesses urgently wanted!

A dramatic morning on the L47! On Friday, November 8, 2024, there was a violent frontal collision between two cars on the route between Osann-Monzel and Maring-Noviand. At around 6.40 a.m., one of the vehicles got on the opposite lane for reasons that have so far been unexplained and collided with an oncoming car. The result: Both drivers suffered serious injuries and had to be medical care immediately.

The Wittlich police were quickly on site and completely blocked the L47 for the duration of the accident. Now the investigators are looking for answers and ask the population for help. Anyone who has observed the accident or can provide information is asked to report on 06571/926-0.
