In the Wittlich-Land community, a special event was celebrated in the Hetzerath community center last Wednesday: Many fire brigade members received honors for their longstanding loyalty and their tireless efforts. Over 70 committed firefighters were honored for their active service from 15 to 45 years. The awarding of the honorary signs, which was carried out by the first district deputy Dennis Junk and Mayor Manuel Follmann, presented a worthy framework for this thank you.

The silver fire brigade badge for 25 years of loyalty were awarded to a number of people, including Eveline Kemmer from Bergweiler and Florian Kohl from Bruch. This long obligation testifies to a considerable commitment and a deep sense of community value.

In addition, numerous firefighters who have been active for 35 years received honors, including Stefan Kiewel from Altrich and Wolfgang Kranz from Arenrath.
