In a remarkable act of cooperation between nature lovers and environmental awareness, mountain bikers from Bad Kreuznach recently planted fresh trees in the Hardt forest with a lot of commitment. Under the direction of Förster Lorenz Berger, the seedlings he had organized were put in the ground. In order to protect these young plants from hungry deer, the forester had previously set up 40 gate elements made of spruce wood from the Kreuznach city forest. This protects the tender plants and at the same time ensures that the biodiversity of the forest is preserved.
