A dramatic incident on Isaac-Bürger-Straße in Siegburg! On Tuesday, November 12th, a truck was stopped by the attentive officials of the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis police service, and the control revealed alarming defects. The 7.5-tonner, which at first glance seemed unobtrusive, turned out to be a traffic uncertain. The police discovered that the lifting platform and the construction frame were crooked, which indicated serious structural problems.

But that wasn't all! During the further examination, the officers opened the charging board wall and found that the vehicle frame was broken on both sides. The improper welding work, which was apparently carried out, should only prevent the lifting platform from tearing off. The police immediately brought the truck to a vehicle test center, where even more defects came to light: defective tires, brakes and bumper and improper load securing. A clear case of traffic accident danger!

consequences for the driver

The police acted quickly and stopped the truck until the defects were remedied. The 58-year-old driver from Cologne was informed about the serious consequences of renewing the transport of the traffic-uncertain vehicle in public road traffic. The license plates were sealed and the driver had to pay for a warning allowance. But the vehicle owner will not get away either - an administrative offense procedure is imminent!
