New residential project in Bad Honnef: affordable apartments for everyone!

Bad Honnef, Deutschland - Bad Honnef - a construction project that splits the city! The Council decided on the Saynscher Hof with just one voice, and Mayor Otto Neuhoff is still affected by the consequences today. The development between Saynscher Hof and City could significantly shape the future of the city center. Investor Alfred Schölzel from SOIF Consulting GmbH & Co. KG now presents a new planning that provides for 20 affordable apartments after the SPD and Greens have vehemently insisted on affordable living space. The funding should be requested in January, and Schölzel is optimistic: "If it does not take place, it remains with expensive apartments for wealthy!"

On an area of 2900 square meters, 31 high -priced apartments, 11 penthouses and 5 commercial space are created. An underground car park for 94 cars and space for 174 bicycles are also planned. The construction should be made sustainable from wood, and Schölzel sees a "good social mix" in future residents. The costs could be reduced from EUR 38 million to EUR 30 million, and there are already interested parties for commercial space that want to offer everyday products. Building finance has stabilized and the interest has decreased.

The anticipation for the project is growing! Mayor Neuhoff is particularly enthusiastic about a new barrier -free access to the city center, which is referred to as the "Rheinische Passage". On November 18, the demolition work begins, followed by trial drilling, to rule out risks such as ordnance. Construction is planned for the first quarter of 2025, the completion is to take place at the end of 2026. In order to include the citizens during the construction period, creative construction site marketing was created, including a new logo and a mascot. Bad Honnefer Schüler will soon be asked to find a name for the “building”!
