in the heart of Remscheid The vocational training center (BZI) will be the scene of an exciting day on Saturday, November 16! Around 50 exhibitors are ready to present a wealth of information about training and further education to visitors. From machines that can be tried, to valuable insight into the world of professional opportunities - everyone will find it here!

BZI boss Alexander Lampe this year has paid special attention to the topic of further training. "We want to show that even in advanced age you can still take your exam for skilled workers," he explains. This is an important signal for everyone who wants to reorient themselves professionally or strive for a career in the craft. The BZI doors open on Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can explore the training rooms and training workshops while the exhibitors build their information stands.

Various exhibitors and exciting hands-on activities

Among the exhibitors there are mainly regional companies that present their apprenticeships and are available on site for questions. Institutions such as the youth professor and the district craftsmen are also represented and inform about funding opportunities. Applications can be submitted directly to the stand, which increases the chance to get the dream job! The training positions offered range from the metal and electrical industry to commercial and IT professions.

Special hands-on activities invite you to become active and try out new skills. A café ensures a relaxed break in which visitors can fortify themselves. School classes are traditionally guests on Friday, while on Saturday young people in particular with their parents and grandparents are expected. "We assume that we are full of the house as usual," said Lampe. The goal remains clear: inspire more young people for dual training and secure the competitiveness of the domestic economy!
