Lintorf dolphins rock the Weckmann swimming in Remscheid!

On December 8, 2024, the young swimmers from TuS 08 Lintorf traveled to the Weckmann swimming in Remscheid, where they shone with an impressive performance. In an exciting competition, the dolphins achieved a total of 31 top ten placements and many personal best times, such as Lintorfer.eu reported. Particularly noteworthy was the performance of Yifei Chen, who won gold in the 25 meter breaststroke and silver in the 25 meter freestyle. Her teammate David Munćan was also able to celebrate a silver medal in the same discipline. Both swimmers from the 2017 class also competed in a relay team for the first time and impressed in two disciplines.

Relay successes and strong individual performances

In the preliminary heat of the 4x25 meter freestyle relay, Munćan, Navid Pasha, Yifei Chen and Constantin Hellmann narrowly missed the podium, but in the next attempt they triumphed in the 4x25 meter backstroke relay and secured first place Supertip online executed. The Dolphins' senior swimmers also put in a strong performance. In the 4x50 meter freestyle relay, Mia Wang (2014), Vincent Schorn (2015), Jir Keyan Yurtdas (2014) and Maria Belke (2015) took third place, while they won silver in the back relay.
