Specialist day for financial violence: Enlightenment for women and girls in Recklinghausen!

In Gladbeck, an urgent topic is placed on the agenda: financial violence against women. On November 19, 2024, in the heart of Recklinghausen, a specialist day starts that was launched by the violence protection for women and girls. This event, which is against violence against women as part of the international week, promises education and change of perspective. From 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., specialists and multipliers have the chance to understand the often overlooked phenomenon of financial violence from different perspectives.

The event will include four captivating lectures that illuminate the topic in all its depth - from sociological to legal to political aspects. The participation of Asha Hedayati, the author of the book "Silent Violence", is particularly evident. It will explain the legal framework of financial violence and thus set important impulses for the participants. Almuth Schnerring, the idea of the Equal Care Day, and the author Lena Böllinger will also share her insights.
