Bergerhausen shines again: Climate -friendly modernization completed!

Saalestraße, 45136 Essen, Deutschland - After a year of intensive construction work, Vivawest successfully completed the extensive modernization in Saalestrasse in Essen! The buildings now shine in new splendor, thanks to complete thermal insulation and thorough renovation both inside and outside. The last work included the renewal of all outdoor facilities and garages that significantly increase living comfort for the tenants.

In June 2023, the construction work began, and now, a year later, the residents benefit not only from fresh facades, but also from modernized apartments. A significant step was to switch to regenerative energy sources: the tenants are now efficiently heating district heating instead of oil. This conversion not only ensures more comfort, but also a more environmentally friendly heating solution.

In order to make the new heating system even more effective, all houses have been modernized energetically. The measures focused on heat protection according to the latest standards. Insulated roofs, facades and basement ceilings as well as new windows contribute to improved energy efficiency, which leads to lower consumption and lower operating costs.
