Wiehl in figure skating fever: TuS talents celebrate great success!
Essen, Deutschland - The figure skaters of TuS Wiehl have already taken part in two competitions this season with remarkable achievements. The athletes showed great suitability and talent, starting with the Lower Rhine Cup in Dinslaken, where a total of six runners from the association were represented.
particularly highlighted is Kira Boos, who started for the first time in the artist category. Despite a smaller mistake, Kira secured eighth place. In the candidate category, Mariia Borodkina, Marta Borodkina and Victoria Kimbel presented themselves. Mariia impressed with an almost flawless performance and took first place. Her club colleagues Marta and Victoria also contributed to the excellent result and achieved places seven and eight. For the 13-year-old Matilda Pfeifer, it was especially in the youngsters B category, where she immediately shone with a respectable fifth place. Lilli Reier, also 13 years old, started as a pioneer and secured a sovereign victory in the Advanced Novice category.
competition and results
The starter presented both short and freestyle programs. In the short program, Lilli Reier impressed with an almost error -free appearance that earned her a lead of over 2.0 points. She was the only participant to show a triple salchow and thus expanded its advantage. Also in the following day of the event, Lilli was able to successfully defend her first place with a strong short performance.
The second competition of the season, the Ruhr Cup in Essen, brought a turn. Lilli Reier had to cancel her participation in the short program after a fall in the triple Schaow. But there were still three more talents for TuS Wiehl. Eleah Doreen Bär came to a respectable fifth place in the youth category. After a promising short program, in which she was in third place, she showed smaller mistakes in her freestyle.
Matilda Pfeifer, who had already celebrated some successes at the Lower Rhine Cup, was also at the start in Essen. In the youth B category, she took sixth place. Unfortunately, she fell on two jumps, which impaired her overall rating. Her club colleague Lilian von EyP marked the prelude to the season with a newly rehearsed freestyle program and immediately impressed in the category of newcomers with a second place.
The performance of the figure skaters from Wiehl not only show extraordinary talent, but also the clear will to improve continuously and to survive in the competitive world of figure skating. The different placements and the experiences of the athletes lay the foundation for a promising season.
The team around TuS Wiehl has found itself impressively into the new season and remains a highlight in figure skating. For further information on the reported results and the next steps in the competition you can The current report on www.oberberg-aktuell.de Read.
