Scandal for illegal felling: Nabu warns of damage in the nature reserve!
Bickenbach, Deutschland - Engelskirchen is in shock! A "black day" for the Teichwiese nature reserve, which is in danger through illegal felling work! The NABU Oberberg raises serious allegations against the property owner, who commissioned a private forest company without obtaining the necessary permits. Instead of just making roads safe, the workers penetrated deep into the protected area and caused devastating damage!
The situation escalated when streets NRW asked the owner to carry out security measures. But instead of adhering to the regulations, two large whites were beaten across the area of approximately ten hectares. "The soil was too wet for a trip, and the Harvester dug deep into the ground," said the NABU. The damaged damage is enormous and the conservationists are alerted!
economic interests in focus
The NABU representatives suspect that the economic interests of the commissioned company are behind the illegal felling. Around half of the nature reserve was affected! The nature conservationists criticize the lack of communication between the authorities and the owner and announce that it would exploit all "rule of law" in order to take action against the damage incurred. The lower nature conservation authority was informed immediately and stopped the felling on November 13th.
The Teichwiese area is not only an ecological jewel, but also home protected animal species such as woodpeckers, fire salamies and leaf frogs. "The sign nature reserve is visible from afar, every improper handling of the area is extremely illegal," emphasizes the nature conservation association in its message. The situation remains tense and the excitement about the illegal activities will continue to increase!
