Martins trains in Oberberg: tradition, lights and treats!
In Oberberg, people celebrate the traditional Martins trains, a colorful spectacle that makes the region shine! The large Martinszug in Lantenbach will take place on November 8, which begins at the St. Michael Catholic Church at 6 p.m. From there the children and adults move to the fire station, where a warm Martin fire ensures cosiness and the participants are pampered with sausages and hot drinks.
The celebrations continue and soon the entire region will be transferred to Martins fever! On November 9, the extinguishing group Strombach-Lobscheid begins its torchlight procession at 5:15 p.m. The starting point is Berlitzstraße, where with a large Martins fire of delicious mulled wine, cocoa and the popular wake -up men are waiting for the participants. Don't forget to get vouchers at the Kelm bakery in Strombach beforehand!

On November 11th, the Catholic parish of the heart of Jesu Dieringhausen is a magnet for young and old! From 5:30 p.m., Martin's history will be told before the large lantern and music train moves from the church to the fire brigade. The Martins fire is lit here, and the celebrations offer wake -up men and grilled food. There is also excitement at the traditional Martinszug in Hunstig, who takes its outcome at the fire station at the same time at the same time and ends with an idyllic fire festival!
Already on November 10th it will be lively in Waldbröl! The Martinszug, organized by the traffic and beautification association, begins at 5:30 p.m. and brings the train from Oststraße to the market square, accompanied by a musical appearance of the Musikkreis Holpe. Here is sung together, and the pedestrians can strengthen themselves with warm and cold drinks and wake -up men for only 1.50 euros.
