Münster, Deutschland - The maneuverable oil tanker “Eventin” is currently being pulled east in the Baltic Sea. This towing association moves at a speed of one to two knots, which corresponds to a speed of 1.85 to 3.7 km/h. The entire towing maneuver is expected to take eight hours.
The tanker is relocated for safety reasons. After the shift, there will be more free sea areas available south to manage unforeseen events.
