Missed woman in Erkrath: Police find her well with friends!

Erkrath, Deutschland - Mettmann (ots) - A dramatic missing person puzzle held the police in Erkrath on Friday evening (November 8, 2024)! A 62-year-old woman suffering from dementia was reported as missing and the search started immediately. The worries about their well -being were great when the police asked the public for help and published a photo of the lady on social media.

But the relief came on Saturday afternoon: at 3 p.m. the police were able to successfully hire the search! The missing lady was accommodated with acquaintances, but they had no idea that the police were looking for her. When they found out about the missing person, they immediately informed the woman's family, who then took her back into her care. A happy ending for everyone involved!

The Mettmann police expressed their thanks to everyone who took part in the search. At the same time, it was asked not to continue using the photo published for reasons of protection for personal rights. The deletion of the missing person search from the police platforms was also prompted to protect women's privacy.
