Art for a good cause: AWO auctions pictures and chairs in Mettmann!

In Mettmann, art is auctioned for a good cause! The AWO art group provided 32 exquisite pictures and creatively designed chairs from the large market meeting in September for a quiet auction. This exciting charity campaign attracts art lovers and supporters who are willing to offer for a good cause.

The auction is already running and the exhibited works can be admired in the AWO-Treff, Gottfried-Wetzel-Straße 8. Interested parties can hand in their commandments in the AWO office, and the highest bid on the first Advent, December 1st, at 6 p.m., wins the coveted works of art. The minimum bid is only ten euros, which enables participation for everyone!

The entire proceeds of this campaign flows directly to the outpatient children's and youth hospice service on Mühlenstrasse. Walter Hill, who explains the campaign, emphasizes the importance of this initiative: "If a visitor likes a picture, he gives a bid for it." This silent auction is not only an opportunity to acquire art, but also an important step to support families in difficult times.
