Memory in Mettmann: Students and artists are reminiscent of November pogroms

On this memorable day, the city invites all citizens to the memorial event that begins at the Koburg Memorial at the Lavalplatz at 6 p.m. Here, students from the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium will design the event with moving articles. An emotional highlight that brings history alive!

But that's not all! At 6.30 p.m. the Evangelical Church on Freiheitstraße becomes the scene of an extraordinary concert. The Microphone mafia, under the direction of the well-known artist and activist Kutlu Yurtseven and Joram Bejarano, the son of the Holocaust-surviving Esther Bejarano, will captivate visitors with a special musical dialogue. An evening that not only maintains, but also stimulates thinking and keeps the memory awake.
