The renovation work on the L561 is finally starting in full. This most important connection between Osterloh and Oberstadt is the focus of the city of Plettenberg, which acts on behalf of the State Roads of North Rhine -Westphalia. The first section of the renovation extends from the roundabout in Osterloh to the confluence on the steel. The city administration states that the work will continue by the end of 2024. A detour is set up for all road users. Motorists who want to drive out of the city towards Herscheid can continue to use the L561. However, if you come into the direction of the neighboring community of city, you have to be diverted from the Osterloh roundabout via Daimlerstraße, Industriestrasse and on the steel to the L561.
