An urgent call for donations is being launched in Leverkusen! The Ukrainian association Mawka is asking for support for needy children in Ukraine, just a few weeks before Christmas. On the next three Sundays - November 10th, 17th and 24th, 2024 - citizens can make donations in kind. The collection point is located at Manforter Straße 184, entrance 3, and is open from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A call that touches hearts!

What is needed? The Mawka association has put together a list that ranges from coloring books and puzzles to backpacks and school supplies. Hygiene items are also urgently needed! The little heroes in Ukraine need hygiene kits, personal care products and even food for their pets. The list is long and every contribution counts!

Donations needed in detail

Here are the much needed items:

  • Für Kinder: Hygienesets (Seife, Zahnpasta, Zahnbürsten, Handtücher, Feuchttücher, Shampoos, Duschgel, Conditioner), persönliche Hygieneartikel (Damenbinden, Tagesbinden).
  • Bildung: Lernmaterialien (Hefte, Stifte, Farben, Bleistifte, Zeichenblöcke, Papier), Rucksäcke, Spielmaterialien (Puzzles, Lego, Lernspiele, Malbücher).
  • Für Tiere: Futter für Hunde und Katzen, Mittel gegen Parasiten, Tabletten gegen Würmer, Flöhe und Zecken sowie Zubehör wie Halsbänder und Leinen.

Those who cannot donate in person have the opportunity to provide financial support. The Mawka association's donation account is set up for humanitarian aid in Ukraine. The bank details are:
