Bayer Leverkusen: New supplier New Balance brings millions!
Leverkusen, Deutschland - Bayer Leverkusen is facing an exciting change! From the 2025/26 season, the German Football Club will most likely have a new supplier at its side. A lucrative contract with the US manufacturer New Balance could fill the Werkself's coffers properly. After a sensational pre -season that catapulted Leverkusen into the focus of the international football world, the rush to jerseys and merchandise has increased enormously. But the joy was clouded by massive delivery bottlenecks in the jerseys that brought the previous supplier Castore into trouble.
The problems with the jerseys could not be overlooked: many sizes were not available over the longer period, which frustrated fans. Leverkusen then pulled the ripcord and used a special right of termination to part with Castore. Now the decision for New Balance seems to be determined that are already working with well -known clubs such as FC Porto and OSC Lille. The return to Adidas, with which Leverkusen was connected for decades, seems to be excluded.
Financial perspectives and Bundesliga comparison
The new contract with New Balance could bring Leverkusen between 6 and 7 million euros a year, while Castore only paid 2 to 3 million euros. Nevertheless, Leverkusen is far behind compared to the top clubs in the Bundesliga. FC Bayern collects an incredible 60 million euros a year from Adidas, while Borussia Dortmund receives 30 million euros from Puma. Even RB Leipzig, which recently switched to Puma, comes to 15 million euros annually. Leverkusen will still have to catch up in order to remain competitive in the financial arms of the Bundesliga.
