New guard manager Holger Kox: North Police relies on local strengths!

A new star in the police sky by Krefeld! On November 4, 2024, the dynamic first police chief commissioner Holger Kox was officially introduced as a guardian of the North Police Guard. The handover took place by police President Ursula Mecklenbrauck, while his predecessor, the estimated first police chief commissioner Andreas Heinrich, was retired.
With over 25 years of experience, Kox has an impressive career that started his training with the police in 1996. After the first stops at the motorway police in Mühlheim an der Ruhr, he had been illuminating in Krefeld since 2003, where he served at the North Police Guard and worked as a vicet manager of the South Police in 2019. Most recently, he was active as a service group leader in the North Police Guard before he officially took over the scepter as a guards on November 1st!

Holger Kox grew up in Krefeld-Uerdingen and now lives in Kempen-Tönisberg. His heart beats for the police, who has been a professional dream for him since school. In addition to his commitment to the police, Kox is also enthusiastic about football! He used to kick at Bayer 05 Uerdingen and also had his appearances in VfR Fischeln's top division team. Even after his active career, he stays loyal to sport and works as a youth coach at VfL Tönisberg, where he passed on his experiences for young talents.
"It is a privilege to work in my hometown," explains the 48-year-old Kox proudly. "I am looking forward to the new challenges that the company brings." With such a passion and commitment, the North Police Guard starts a new era that causes excitement!
