Vorarlberg victim of finance fraud: Millions secured in Cologne!

Köln, Deutschland - Hope for quick money has given numerous Austrians the financial ruin. Two fraudulent platforms, Barak and Lenhoff, attracted numerous affected people to their trap, as reported by the Vorarlberg Chamber of Labor. The association for combating cybercrime against small investors and consumers (EFRI) is now planning to help the victims. After all, millions of euros from an illegal money collection point have been secured in Cologne. Victims who have lost 3,000 euros or more are asked to report. Efri currently represents 464 damaged people, including 96 from Austria, where the losses are enough for hundreds of thousands of euros. A Vorarlberger even lost more than 270,000 euros, while other affected people lost up to 200,000 euros or more on the platforms.

Again and again new fraudsters step on the scene and offer the victims their supposed “help” - mostly against advance payment. An example from practice: a person affected, we call him Mr. A., will be spoiled with the advertising "with 20 euros to the millionaire". After the deposit of 250 euros, he is promised with a speculative “financial strategy” of the money blessing, which, however, ends quickly in a financial downward spiral. In fact, the chances of reimbursement of the losses are extremely bad. In many cases, those affected are to be asked for a further 50,000 euros and more by overpriced “recovery plans”.
