Kleve, Deutschland - kleve. The zoo Kleve ended the 2024 main season with a bang and is now starting in the low season 2024/25! "This year's main season was particularly for us," enthuses Tiergarten Manager Martin Polotzek. With the spectacular "China Lights" event, the zoo celebrated its 65th anniversary and opened a new, walk-in prairie system in April, which is reminiscent of an old western city. But that's not all: the season was peppered with impressive breeding successes, including the sweet dwarf silk chops and the exotic ball girdle. Even two new animal species, the Watussirind and the doubts, now enrich the zoo!

But the zoo does not rest on its laurels! He also promises animal fun for the whole family in autumn and winter. "The current autumn weather invites you to a unique walk through the Tiergarten," explains Polotzek. Here, visitors can not only romp at the adventure playground, but also experience the animals in a completely different light. While the arc hooks and snowy owls are now really blooming, the new prairie dogs are preparing for their winter rest. The exotics such as two -coloredamarine, sloth and meerkats can also be observed in their heated interior systems in winter. And best of all: There are new youngsters with the dwarf silk chops! A visit is also worthwhile in the cold season!

A highlight of the winter season are the new opening times of the zoo snack: it is now also open in winter! From Friday to Sunday and on holidays and holidays, hungry zoo visitors can be supplied with snacks and hot and cold drinks from 12 noon to 4 p.m. The Kleve zoo is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers numerous attractions for large and small animal lovers with the sweet young talent at the dwarf silk chops and the new sloth Carlo.
