Circular synod in Kleve: Rahel Schaller nominated as deputy!

A departure in the Evangelical Church in the district of Kleve is imminent! The nomination committee proposed Robert Arndt as a new superintendent. This exciting decision is officially made during the two -day circular synod, which meets in Kleve on Friday, November 8th. Arndt will not be at the top, because Pastor Rahel Schaller should become his deputy. A strong duo that could bring a fresh wind to church!

Financial stability for the municipalities

The synodals, the representatives of the church circles, will not only decide on the choice of the new management committee, but will also deal with the finances of the church district. A gratifying news for the 20 Protestant communities with around 41,000 members: the levy remains stable at 12 percent. This means that the financial basis is secured while the new managers can implement their visions!

The upcoming elections and the discussions about finances are crucial for the future of the Protestant community in the district of Kleve. The tension increases and the hope for positive changes is tangible! Be there when the course is set for the coming years!
