Dubai chocolate: Sweet sensation conquers Munich-now do it yourself!
München, Deutschland - chocolate is the epitome of sweet temptation, but now a new creation from Dubai causes a sensation! The so-called Dubai chocolate has conquered the hearts of the sweet tooth in the storm. With its unique filling of pistachio cream and the exotic angel hair - wafer -thin, crispy threads that are popular in Arab and Turkish cuisine - it becomes an international trend. The Bavarian Consumer Center clarifies what is behind the hype.
This delicious chocolate quickly developed into a must-have, especially through the viral videos on TikTok, in which the dazzling look and the special ingredients are advertised. Now the Dubai chocolate is even available in German supermarkets! But the price is anything but cute: a table costs 15 euros. For those who cannot afford this luxury, there is a tasty alternative - the chocolate can easily be made yourself! The Chocolate Museum Cologne has published a recipe that is required for its own creation.
This is how the Dubai chocolate is prepared!
For the production of the Dubai chocolate you need:
- white chocolate for decorating
- food color
- 3 plates whole milk or white chocolate
- 50 g butter
- 100-200 g Engelshaar/Kadayif
- 1 tl tahin
- 1/2-1 glass pistachius
- a pinch of sea salt
- chopped pistachios or brazen for filling and decoration
The preparation is a small process: first the angel hair is fried in butter until golden brown and then mixed with the pistachio cream. The chocolate is then melted and poured in shape. After several cooling phases, the filling is added and everything is covered with a final layer of chocolate. This creates a sweet masterpiece that not only looks good, but also tastes fantastic!
