Heimbach, Deutschland - Heimbach - a dramatic incident on the L 249! A 68-year-old motorcyclist from Kerpen was on his way to the Mariawald Abbey when two racing cyclists came up. There was a disaster in a dangerous left-wing curve: the 27-year-old cyclist from Alfter collided head-on with the motorcycle, while his 25-year-old colleague grazed the ridge on the side and overturned. A shocking moment for everyone involved!

The episodes were immediately noticeable. All three - the motorcyclist and the two cyclists - suffered minor injuries. While the 27-year-old was treated and released directly on site, the 25-year-old had to be taken to the Lendersdorf hospital with an ambulance. The motorcyclist was also transported to the Mechernich hospital. Luckily that it was not worse!

The property damage is considerable: around 8,000 euros were estimated on the three vehicles. It is interesting that the right lane was closed due to construction work and a one -way street was set up.
