Martinessen in Heinsberg: Together for the Tafel and the Christmas season!

A festive evening full of community and support! Pastor Sebastian Walde opened Martinessen in the Christuskirche, which was not only a culinary pleasure, but also gave the starting signal for the Christmas campaign of the Heinsberger Tafel. "In the Christmas season we are particularly in demand and particularly challenged," emphasized Walde and referred to the people in need who need to be looked after this year. The atmosphere was characterized by cohesion and the desire to do good.

The presence of numerous representatives of institutions that had received the Martinslantern last year and were committed to the board was particularly gratifying. A new patron was also presented: Norbert Wolters from Heinsberg-Kempen, who and his team from H+L GmbH, a specialist company for heating, ventilation and sanitary installations, will continue the tradition. "We are not a bank. But we will do our best," said Wolters proudly. The event ended with the hope that new supporters can be won.

Collect all boards

The Heinsberger Tafel, Rudolf-Diesel-Straße 19, calls for the fundraiser! From November 27th to December 13th, durable food (without alcohol) will be collected. The assumption takes place on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The packages can also be handed over at various acceptance points such as Physiotherapy Janzic and the parish office of the Evangelical Church. Important: the packages should not be closed!

Die Tafel Erkelenz, Krefelder Straße 5a, asks for Christmas packaged donations with durable food, coffee, cocoa or tea and pastries that are accepted from November 18 to December 16. The same applies to the Hückelhoven board, which will accept donations from November 26 to December 13th. The issuing offices in Wassenberg, Gangelt, Geilenkirchen and Übach-Palenberg are also active and are happy about support. Together we can set a sign of solidarity in this contemplative time!
