In the tranquil village of Teveren, it is getting serious now! From November to January or February there are extensive sewer renovations, the city of Geilenkirchen reveals. The affected streets - on the Maibuchen, Gillrather Straße, Königsstraße, Müncherather Straße, Waidmühle and Welschendriesch - will become a special kind in the coming months.

But how does it work? A sensational technology is used! Special hoses are drawn into the sewage system via the channel shafts. These are set up with overpressure and finally hardened. "First of all, the existing sewage system is measured to prepare the inliner," explains a spokesman for the city. But be careful, drivers! On the day of the hose plating, considerable traffic restrictions on the affected roads can be expected.
