Hamm celebrates 50 years of big city: festivities and highlights 2025!

Hamm, Deutschland - Hamm is a spectacular year ago! In 2025 the city turned 50 and celebrates its anniversary as a big city with a colorful program that focuses on the diversity of the districts. The celebrations begin on May 10, 2025 in the Uentrop district and end on August 30th in the Mitte and Rhynern districts. A joint ceremony in November will crown the big event!

Exactly 50 years ago, as part of the "Münster/Hamm law", Hamm became a big city. This important anniversary is celebrated under the motto "Hamm - a city of diversity". The districts will present their special strengths and skills on selected days that make Hamm a unique place. Preparations are in full swing, and the first events are already certain!

The highlights of the celebrations

Here is an overview of the planned events: On May 10, in Uentrop with "50 years of Uentrop district - we celebrate!" big celebrated.
