Hagen, Deutschland - The anticipation for Christmas time rises in Hagen! The city is ready to conquer the hearts of visitors with three spectacular Christmas markets. From sparkling lights to festive music - the contemplative atmosphere is very important here. Whether for families, romantics or time travel fans, Hagen has something to offer for everyone!

The 57th Hagen Christmas market opens its gates on November 21 and attracts the masses until December 30th. Between Volksplatz and Friedrich-Ebert-Platz, guests can expect a colorful musical program and numerous stalls. Families can look forward to a special stroll pass, which offers a large number of vouchers worth 30 euros for just 15 euros. On December 14th it will even be magical: a steampunk parade with a "steampunk-Santa" will enchant visitors!

The LWL open-air museum Hagen is transformed into a true winter wonderland from November 29 to December 1st. Here, visitors can admire handmade products in an authentic backdrop and enjoy the fragrance of freshly baked mares and mulled wine. There is a fairy tale hour for the little guests every market day! Tickets are available online and cost 8 euros, including free return trip with VRR means of transport.

It becomes romantic at the Christmas market in Hohenlimburg Castle, which will take place for the 20th time this year. On three weekends in December, visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere and be enchanted by the music of the Christmas singer Ms. Sara from Hellomond. Entry is 8 euros for adults and 4 euros for children from the age of seven, including a shuttle bus ride from Hohenlimburg train station. Parking spaces at the castle are not available, so it is best to use public transport!
