Car crashes against tree: dogs provide dramatic accident in Hagen!

Hagen. A dramatic incident occurred on Monday evening on Knippschildstrasse in Hagen! A jeep driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree. The accident occurred around 6.15 p.m. when the 52-year-old man was on his way towards Fley.

The driver told the police that he had seen lights on the right side of the road in the distance and suspected that strollers were going there. Suddenly, however, two large dogs, a German Shepherd and a Labrador, ran onto the street. In a desperate attempt to avoid a collision, the man skidded and crashed against the tree unchecked. The impact force led to minor injuries and the driver was taken to the hospital with an ambulance. His jeep had to be towed.

Short blocking of the Knippschildstrasse

During the rescue work, the Knippschildstraße was temporarily blocked, which led to a traffic jam in the area. The police could not find the pedestrians who had mentioned the driver at the scene of the accident. Witnesses of the incident are called to report to the Hagen police on 02331-986 2066. The investigation into the accident is taken over by the traffic commissioner.
