Hagen. Thomas Kistenmacher, a tireless fighter from the road construction administration, celebrates an impressive for 40 years! But his path was anything but easy - three serious accidents shaped him and put his career to the test.

The Hagener began his trip in 1979 as a car mechanic in the Neumann dealership, but reality was tough: only one was taken over by over a dozen journeyman. A setback that couldn't stop him!

In 1984, Kistenmacher dared to make the leap into a new industry and became one of the first retractors of the Westphalia Lippe landscape association. He worked for ten years in the Road Master's House and provided security on the streets. But fate struck: after the road maintenance department Hagen was closed, he experienced the dangers of his job up close. Three accidents that not only physically, but also mentally stressed, led to him no longer could work on the track.

But box makers did not give up! He moved to the Hagen motorway master, where he took care of the care of adjoining facilities. In 2021, with the foundation of Autobahn GmbH, he entered the office of the Hagen branch. Today the 61-year-old looks after a wide area of responsibility, including the fleet-a nostalgic return to his roots.
