Young judge fights against files and family conflicts!
In the heart of Munich, the image of a young lawyer is emerging who enters the reality of the judiciary with great dreams. Thirza Zorniger, the protagonist of the new ARD film "Servus, your honor-finally judge", is embodied by actress Amelie Kiefer. The film, which will be broadcast on Friday, October 4th at 8:15 p.m. in the first and is available in the ARD media library two days earlier, presents Thirza's challenges as a civil judge in the Munich Palace of Justice.
Amelie Kiefer (36) plays the passionate young judge, who is looking forward to her first job at the Higher Regional Court. For Thirza, the job is more than work - it is a legacy of her late mother, who, as a lawyer, himself had great ambitions. But soon she has to realize that the job is often a struggle between idealism and the harsh realities of the judiciary.
between idealism and reality
In the Palace of Justice, the files, and their supervisor, Helmfried von Lüttichau, are not only awaited by Thirza, but also speed when processing the cases. In her first case, which takes a dramatic turn, she is faced with serious inconsistencies. An actress who lost a lower leg in the event of a boat accident on Lake Starnberg demands compensation from her friend. The applicant's apt sentence - "you were gone - just like my lower leg" - illustrates the severity of the incident.
But Thirza questions whether only the applicant was really under the influence of alcohol, while the entire incident took place. With a journalistic colleague, Kaya (Karim Günes), she begins to investigate her own investigation. Despite the dangers associated with this decision - their independence is at stake and the anger of her colleagues - she cannot simply close her eyes from inconsistencies.
In addition, she has to deal with personal problems. Her fiance Herbert (Leo Reisinger) does not support her ambition, and her self -portrayal father Carlos (Josef Palfrader), a successful actor, does not contribute to relaxation, but ensures further family conflicts.
a mix of known motifs
The film combines various element of entertainment. He brings feminism into play with a mixture of influences by "Erin Brockovich", "Toni Erdmann" and "Boston Legal". Despite these many inspirations, the overall picture remains rather light and entertaining instead of allowing profound reflections. Thirza's trips between the expectations of her family and reality as a lawyer offer an interesting perspective on the challenges of young women in the modern legal system, but without diving into deeper social issues.
With the story of an idealistic lawyer who comes across the obstacles to reality, the viewer is pulled into an exciting scenario - between hunting for justice and the constraints of everyday life. The challenges and the inner conflict of Thirza are therefore both entertaining and understandable, which is a relevant topic for many young people.
