RTL brings the German version of the success series "Euphoria" to the city, and this in one of the most problematic quarters: Bismarck. On Friday, November 8th, the city will no longer only be known for football, but also for the filming, which will take place from 15 to midnight. Robergstraße and Almanshof become the scene for the adaptation, which the audience is supposed to captivate.

The decision to shoot in Bismarck causes excitement. Residents have to prepare for temporarily closures and stopping bans, which were approved by the city. An employee of the production explains: "We were looking for a typical Ruhr area backdrop." The environment, shaped by Gelsenkirchener Baroque architecture, offers a richly decorated, but in need of renovation, which is perfect for the dark topic of the series.

But that's not all! In other Ruhr area cities such as Duisburg and Cologne, also shot for “euphoria”. The series addresses the challenging growing up of young people and could split the minds in Gelsenkirchen.
