In the night of November 16, 2024, around 4:45 a.m., the Gelsenkirchen police were called to a company premises on Pommernstrasse in Bismarck. A break -in was suspected and the first clues quickly confirmed: a damaged fence and suspicious noises from a nearby bushes alerted the emergency services. A police helicopter was immediately requested to locate the suspects from the air.
Thanks to the ultra -modern camera systems of the helicopter, the officials were able to quickly identify two suspects. The men, a 56-year-old Gelsenkirchener and a 32-year-old without a permanent residence in Germany, were arrested in their hiding places.
